As an experiment for mod7's 2006 print Christmas cards, I created a Flash program that generated a random composition of snowflakes. Thanks to an algorithm based on psuedo-randomness, each snowflake is completely unique. Below is a small-scale version of the generator to preview online.
Depending on the speed and power of your computer, the digital art can take anywhere from 10 to 60 seconds to completely generate, so be patient!
